Meet Carrie

Exhaustion and burnout are a true sign you are not living at the core of your life and living on the inside. Being able to continually ground yourself and reset is part of knowing what your guidance system needs, knowing you can put yourself first to relax and achieve what it is you need in the very moment. Being able to reflect and take time to ask yourself what it is you need, is so important and knowing how to rest even if you haven’t got to the end of your, ‘to do list.’ Life is a never-ending pile of lists and things to do. The art is knowing how to weave yourself in between and let go, knowing it will always be there, and it is futile to continue to try and complete the list or tasks before you rest. That will lead you to burn out. Taking time for yourself and resting is not selfish. It is extremely important to be able to look after your body and put yourself first. I call this ‘Self-is.’ Because without your, ‘Self,’ there is no you.

If you have a system and a role that overrides the signals and ques for rest or reset, then you will continue to force and push, not listening to the signs and signals of your body, resulting in misalignment. The results of not being in alignment can cause disease, depression, confusion, addictions, stress, burnout, exhaustion, and much more, and can seriously damage your health and wellbeing, driving you to seek calibration through external means, like medication, drink, drugs, social media, and relationships that are not good for you, anything to feel better, instead of resting and realigning.

There are many signs you are not listening to your body.

You are Always Tired, No Matter How Much You Rest. You wake up feeling exhausted, even after a full night’s sleep. Your energy crashes throughout the day. Rest doesn’t seem to recharge you anymore.

Burnout is deeper than just being ‘tired.’ Your body is running on empty.

You Feel Emotionally Numb or Overwhelmed. You don’t feel excitement or joy in things you used to love.
Small things trigger big emotions, anger, frustration, sadness and you feel detached, like you’re just going through the motions.

Burnout disconnects you from yourself. It’s a sign you need to slow down.

Your Mind Feels Foggy & Unfocused so you are no loner able to concentrate, even on simple tasks.
You feel scattered, forgetful, or mentally drained and productivity feels impossible, even though you’re constantly “doing.” Your brain needs space to recharge and constant stress blocks your clarity.

You’re constantly irritable and resentful

You snap at small things that wouldn’t normally bother you. You feel resentful towards work, responsibilities, or people and you crave alone time because everything feels overwhelming.

Irritability is often a sign of burnout, not just stress.

You Feel Disconnected from Your Purpose & Passion and You lose motivation and drive. Even things you once loved feel like a chore, and you wonder if you’re even on the right path anymore.

Burnout can make you doubt your purpose, but clarity returns with rest & realignment.

How to Overcome Burnout & Reignite Your Energy

Burnout isn’t just about exhaustion, it’s a sign you have been ignoring your body for too long and you are out of alignment.  Knowing how to reset, replenish, is really important.

Learning to stop pushing through and being able to say no, and remove the word should, and let go of the guilt and being able to rest if the first step. Recognising and listening to your body’s needs. It isn’t a weakness it’s a strength and being able to give yourself permission to be “self-is.’ Being able to put yourself first and acknowledge your needs, not everyone else’s.

Sleep more, take more rest and do nothing if you can for a while, without the fear of guilt.

You can’t heal what you ignore. Acknowledge where you are & give yourself permission.

Rest isn’t lazy, it’s necessary for sustainable energy.

Somatic soul alignment is a gentle, integrative process that brings the body, mind, and inner self back into harmony by working beneath surface thoughts and into the felt experience of the body. Rooted in principles of Somatic Therapy and supported by elements of Energy Healing, it helps individuals release stored tension, emotional patterns, and inherited roles that keep them disconnected from their true essence. Rather than focusing on fixing or analysing, it creates a safe, attuned space where the body can soften, awareness can deepen, and a more authentic, intuitive way of being can emerge—allowing a person to feel grounded, aligned, and guided from within.
